At 45, Floyd still has the ring IQ to develope a plan. With a 3 inch height advantage and an almost 5 inch reach advantage, I see FM keeping the Monster on the outside with the jab, and to your point, clinch whenever Inoue gets close. Mix in a few hard hooks, and an occasional straight right. Might be a tough night for the Monster.

Paul weighed 200 pounds and was much bigger physically much stronger than pbf dummy and he held and fought only to survive. He beats the **** out of inoue even if inoue blocked his punches they would push him and hurt him. Inoue isn't hard to hit either he's not a defensive wizard. He gets bullied beat up and stopped in a boxing match against pbf. Stop!

This would be fun & id pay good money for this.

    Inoue decisión
    Floyd to old to win
Against any prime athletes at the top of the sport.

but he is not too old to survive & still good enough to get some nice licks in while he’s at it.

IIRC this specific kickboxer relied heavily on kicks as well. It's like giving Ali a twisted ankle.

That wasn't my point but whatever

It was a matter of size difference. The kickboxer was a world class fighter and was getting swatted around the ring from every punch landed by Floyd

Him not being able to kick obviously meant he wasn't going to win the fight, that really doesn't need saying.

But the way he lost was due to the size difference. Watch the fight, it was only a round long.

Floyd wins because of the size difference. It's a dumb matchup as good as Inoue is

Whats funny is that Joker is so confident Inoue wins but if they did do a fun little exhibition and Floyd won, Joker would cope by calling Floyd a weight bully and a cherrypicker.

Not that it matters anyway. It's Joker we're taking about. He still has sleepless nights about the KO of December 8th, 2012

He lost because he wasn't a boxer.

    Look I'll make this simple.

He was not only a kickboxing champion (still undefeated btw), but also a kyokushin champion before he turned pro in kickboxing. I realize this might be foreign to a lot of people who post on this message board, but Kyokushin fighters are basically tanks. Think the Joe Joyce approach to boxing.

i.e. everything points to Tenshin be able to take a punch, but Floyd was so much bigger in the ring, that even when Tenshin was blocking shots, he was getting knocked about the ring. Inoue and Tenshin are roughly the same size. So it's very unlikely that Inoue would be able to handle floyds power, maybe he could ride the shots better, but as PimpC points out, Inoue is just going to be swatted around the ring by Floyd whenever he lands.

This isn't about some misplaced idea that boxers are the toughest fighters on the planet (they aren't), it's about the size gap between Floyd and Inoue. Inoue isn't overcoming the 30lb difference, it's really that simple.

Floyd is quite simply too big and his boxing IQ is still intact. No contest.

Floyd wins a unanimous boring decision would not surprise me.

    But, but, but...

A boxer can't take punishment in a fight he won.

I’m surprised this thread is still popping up on the main page because it’s literally not a debate: Big Man beats Little Man if Little Man is 30 lbs lighter.

It doesn’t matter if Big Man’s reflexes are shot, Floyd Mayweather is still athletic enough to avoid being KO’d by, and subsequently walk down and KTFO, a 118 lb midget.

It doesn’t matter how hard Inoue hits, he’s not KO’ing a man who outweighs him by 30 lbs.
