This matchup is better than Beterbiev vs Yarde.

I think Bivol will face Canelo once he defeats Zurdo and Beterbiev will defend his titles vs the winner of the WBC eliminator (Between Callum Smith and Bardelique).

Bivol also has Buatsi to face in the future on Dazn. Who does Arum have to offer to Beterbiev at 175 lol?

Highly unlikely we'll get Bivol v Beterbiev undisputed given the egos between Hearn and Arum plus 2 Russians fight against each other isn't going to sell in today's climate.

Arum will probably try and get out of stable guys to fight Beterbiev like a Pascal in a mega fight in Canada

let's not overate Bivol off his Canelo performance I think this is a close fight and with some favouritsm towards ramirez this could be an "upset"

Should be a good fight. I don't expect a knockout either way. Despite having just 20 fights as compared to Zurdo's 44, Bivol has fought the better opposition. I am rooting for Ramirez but I'm excepting a close decision win for the Canelo Killer.

This is the first fight that would be personal according to Bivol. So, if Beterbiev fight is not next, this is the right fight for Bivol.

Bivol sparred both Benavidez and Zurdo, and he said many positive things about Benavidez, but nothing special about Zurdo. interesting.

Solid fight, I don’t mind this. We have Beterbiev vs Yarde and now Bivol vs Zurdo, should be a good build up for the inevitable match up between Bivol and Beterbiev.

Bivol stands no chance. Ramirez is explosive and quick. Bivol is a plodder from Turkmenistan.

I remember Oscar suggesting with a tweet that the decision wouldn't of gone against Canelo if he was still with Golden Boy. I wonder if GB wins the purse bid and this fight is in....oh I dont know Texas....with Golden Boy promoting what are the chanced Bivol gets a fair shake from the judges?

Zurdo had zero hype at 168. I don't understand why he has garnered so much attention at 175. He may have improved a small amount in the move but the gulf between 168 and 175 talent will be very apparent when Bivol outclasses Zurdo.

Slight advantage to Bivol, but Ramirez can definitely pull this one off. Hope it happens next.
