Very good points. Haye is definitely the faster man, but Peter is just one walking powerhouse. Would be a great fight, definitely no boring holding contest.

    Ah, I see. :good

I think Calzaghe would easily beat Pavlik. In my view Pavlik is very overrated, especially his punching power.

Nice list. This is a good idea for a thread.

Here's a few of the fights I would like to see come to fruition:

    Vitali/Wladimir
    Samuel Peters/Valuev
    David Haye/Evander Holyfield
    Valuev/Wladimir Klitschko
Roy Jones/Samuel Peter (if Roy says he can do it, I want to see it)
    James Toney/David Haye
Roy Jones/David Haye (at cruiserweight for undisputed title)
    Adamek/Briggs III
    Adamek/Jirov
    Calzaghe/Antonio Tarver
    Calzaghe/Glen Johnson
    Roy Jones/Bernard Hopkins
    Pavlik/Calzaghe
    Pavlik/Tito Trinidad
    Pavlik/Winky Wright
    Pavlik/Abraham
    Andy Lee/john Duddy
    De La Hoya/Cotto
    De La Hoya/Margarito
    Sugar Shane Mosley/Ricardo Mayorga
    Sugar Shane Mosley/Antonio Margarito
    Paul Williams/Antonio Margarito II
    Ricky Hatton/Manny Pacquiao
Ricky Hatton/Junior Witter (makings of a real grudge fight)
    Emmanuel Augustus/Jose Luis Castillo
Emmanuel "The Drunken Master" Augustus/Ricky Hatton
    Manny Pacquiao/juan Diaz
    Manny Pacquiao/Michael Katsidis
    Manny Pacquiao/joel Cassamayor

If I had to pick ten? Let's see:

Manny Pacquiao vs. Joel Casamayor - 135lbs
Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao - 135lbs
Joe Calzaghe vs. Kelly Pavlik - 175lbs
Arthur Abraham vs. Kelly Pavlik - 168lbs
Nate Campbell vs. Joan Guzman - 135lbs (and it's happening!)
Vitali Klitschko vs. David Haye (provided Vitali is fit and ready)
Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Israel Vasquez - 122lbs
Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Rafael Marquez - 122lbs
Miguel Cotto vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. - 147lbs
    Vitali Klitschko vs. Ruslan Chagaev

Bold is who I think would win. I'd love to see all these, either for settling scores (Mayweather/Cotto) or just great fights (Pacquiao/Casamayor.)

    Welcome Silvio

A bit perplexed by the Hatton-Harris choice (Hatton by murder IMO), but each to his own:good

So many fights I would like to see; too many to mention. I'll just give my no.1 choice:

Montiel - Mijares (bring it on)

For a second there I was wondering what you had against Juan Manuel Marquez, but then my stupidity wore off.

Adamek-Mormeck would be a great fight.
