I had the Lomachenko-Teofimo fight a draw. Once Lomachenko figured Lopez out it was all Loma in the second half, and I'm certain the rematch would see Loma continue doing what he did the second half.

It's not uncommon for second tier fighters to beat an A fighter. Mayorga, Maidana, Porter, and many other countless B level fighters are good enough or have the style to beat an A fighter.

    You're probably overeating Kambosos.

Ponce De Leon deserved the win, but it was close, I think I had it 96-94 for Daniel. But Haney definitely struggled with JoJo, at best he beat him 115-113, at worst it was a draw.

So Haney beat the guy that gave Lomachenko more problems than anyone else at lightweight and drew with him.

Call him a b level fighter but who else was Haney supposed to fight to become undisputed ? I need answers. Im pretty sure Haney wanted Lomachenko and Lopez but they fought eachother obviously. Saying Haney is a paper champion after undisputed is ridiculous

That's the problem. Ryan is a good fighter but he's vulnerable defensively and Tank can take advantage of that and could hurt him with a well timed shot particularly if Ryan is too aggressive against Tank. Ryan could end up like Rolly did getting countered to hell and dropped.

Let's not forget, most good scorers on here had Nakatani pulling out a 115-113 win over Fimo as well. Lopez had a terrible night, fought like an overly emotional idiot, and clearly wasn't prepared for what Kambosos was bringing that night, and was incapable of adjusting.

So he's at 140 permanently now. Who the hell does DAZN/GB have for him to fight at 140? Zorilla.

Looks like Jojo, Pitbull and Roach Jr are off the table.

Exactly. As much as it was Kambosos who knew how to exploit Lopez, it was Lopez who fought one dimensionally.

Ryan said it today, if you go into a fight forcing the KO, you're probably not going to get it. That's what Lopez did against Kambosos.

Haney did not beat Lopez. He beat Kambosos.

It was a mistype he beat the guy who beat the guy who "drew" with Lomachenko and gave Lomachenko problems. Point still stands

Very true, but on the other side of that, Kambosos fought out of his mind against Lopez, and Kambosos had a terrible night against Haney. Kambosos had a terrible gameplan against Devin, just standing there and getting peppered with jabs all night. I don't know how much better Kambosos could do against Haney in a rematch, but the highly motivted hungry Kambosos who fought Lopez I think would do a lot better. Lets not forget Kambosos while getting outclassed against Haney for most of the fight, did "arguably" drop Haney. That shows that he has the power to catch and time Haney and who knows what would happen if he had a better gameplan. Maybe Haney wouldn't be as focused in a rematch thinking beating Kambosos again would be easy work. You never know how a rematch could play out. I don't see him outboxing Haney because of how good Haney's jab is, but he could certainly do a better job of avoiding getting hit clean with that jab as much as he did. Keep a high guard, give him some head movement, back away at times, try to catch Haney coming in, etc.

Nothing i said was wrong. You can deny reality all you like and cope but it doesn't change the facts

Not Haneys fault Lopez got whooped by Kambosos. Lopez could've made a defense against Haney but cherrypicked Kambosos instead

Also Lopez probably was overconfident after beating Loma, and got complacent. Lopez was out of the ring for over a year between the Loma fight and the Kambosos fight, a lot can change in a year, I think ring rust was a factor in his loss to Kambosos, and overconfidence after beating what was, lets face it, an injured Loma.

i dont think ryan is cerebral at all. may be in a sense that you give him some punches or combinations to throw and he goes out and looks for openings to throw em.
i can see why someone could favor haney, ryan looks vulnerable at times, and haney is more polished. but i see all the tools ryan needs to beat haney, an hes got an excellent set. and i think the wrinkles can get ironed out by the right coach by the time they meet.
