Imagine if Caterall won and actually got the verdict this time. What would that do to Taylor’s reputation long term? Taylor may have been weight drained, unfocused, or what other excuses he has, but imagine what would peoples opinion if Jack has just figured him out and does him again but gets the verdict. I would like Caterall to do it again and actually get the verdict as he seems like a good lad, while Taylor portrays himself as a bell***
Styles make fights and I see Catterall being a problem for Taylor again. Taylor needs to be careful and not fight on emotion. I can see him coming into this so hell bent on proving the doubters wrong he ends up with making the same mistakes again. If Catterall starts well it will just add more pressure and doubt into Taylor.
My most interesting part is wondering what Taylor’s game plan is going to be. It seemed very clear that he didn’t have one last time, he was stuck between trying to fight Jack and trying to outbox him which mean he was unsuccessful at both. Catterall has never been down but I would say Josh has to rough him up, his jab was so poor last time that I can’t see him outboxing Catterall. It’ll be an interesting one to watch.
Josh Taylor “was” a prominent MTK fighter. Has his acceptance of this fight got anything to do with him being denied entry to the United States? I know several boxers and media personalities have had problems.
agree,Taylor will look a million dollars against most fighters but Catterall has just got the style to give him problems..southpaw,solid jab, ultra cagey and can handle himself close quarters.
This content is protected This is a fight I really want to see but how will it work? It is about as MTK as it gets so will Sky show it? Could it work being on as a FITE TV PPV?
After the over the top stink sky kicked up about the 1st fight and the controversy it caused I think they would love to have it again.
It was embarrassing how one-sided Sky had it. Johnny Nelson had Catterrall winning the first seven rounds. Madness
