    One thing they both have in common is that they cried in the ring. McCall when he fought Lewis, Usyk when he defeated Joshua.

    Can't disagree, when you put it on paper like that, it arguably is, though you do have to take certain things into account like that Holmes was late in his career and not fighting at the same level as he had been earlier in his career. Still I think it is a bigger win than Usyks first 2 HW fights, but is also an unfair comparison as McCall has had a whole career fighting at HW and that is being compared to Usyk who hasn't even had 5 fights at the weight yet
    In a fantasy match up, I would pick Usyk to win on points

    That makes John Ruiz better than Mike Tyson, because he beat Holyfield and Tyson couldn't.

    Also makes Hasim Rahman better than Mike Tyson, because he beat Lennox and Tyson couldn't.

    Usyk beat the unified HW champ in his 3rd HW fight.

    How many fighters were undisputed at cruiserweight and then unified champs at heavyweight?

    How many fighters were Olympic Gold Medalists AND unified champions at Heavyweight?

    You might as well appreciate his greatness.

    Usyk has no notable resume at heavy weight.

    McCall only has a win over Lewis.
    it is joke to mention his pathetic win with 45 year Holmes.

    Usyk would beat everyone who beat McCall sans possibly southpaw and slickster avoiding Lennox Lewis and McCall flunked his steps up to CW Level

    No because Holyfield was in a different stage of his career. McCall's best 3 wins at heavyweight are better than Usyk's but Usyk has only had 3 fights at the weight.
