Khan under Roach is the only version of Khan that MAYBE had a chance against Floyd. Khan under Hunter would have tried to beat Floyd at his own game, which is a TERRIBLE idea.

    Khan was unteachable.

    Same basic patterns.

This. Not only did Khan have a horrible chin, but he also had the boxing IQ of a rock. But hey, he talked a good game.

Not really. Even the best defensive fighters get hit on the Chin. Khan had no Chin. None. Better ‘Defense’ wasn’t going to change that. You can’t ‘train’ a Chin.

Even simple head movement would have improved Khan's defense. Even something as simple as blocking more often would have improved Khan's defense.

And it's not just Khan's upper body defense that's bad. One major reason he keeps getting hit is because his footwork is TERRIBLE. He can't get out of the way of punches.
