Usyk is a great fighter but his attributes are overrated. Some on here would have you believe he is untouchable yet we've seen the likes of Washington and del boy chisora rough him up a bit and take rounds off of him. He is there to be hit, simply AJ has to be prepared to get hit with one or two to land a good one of his own. Said it before, the shots that finished Whyte or Povetkin or that uppercut Wlad ate, Usyk ain't recovering from those kinda shots if Joshua is able to land them. Simples

Joshua lost because he came out with the worst possible gameplan against Usyk.

You're not going to outbox Usyk. It's like trying to beat Steph Curry in a 3-point contest.

Usyk is obviously the far superior fighter and if they were remotely the same size AJ would literally stand zero chance. Usyk would KO him 10 times of 10 if he wanted him out of there. But the thing that makes AJ dangerous against much smaller fighters is he's pretty fast for someone of his gargantuan dimensions and when he gets you hurt he'll pounce in you with speedy very heavy combinations so the risk of the smaller man getting caught with something huge by him is much higher than it would be against the vast majority of these 6'5'' 240-270lb SHW behemoths.

Also, AJ literally has half the world in his corner and he's gone to rather extreme lengths to try and increase his chances of winning and stack the deck even more in his favour for someone who merely got the tactics wrong in the first fight. Had that been the case all he would've needed to do to secure victory in the rematch is change them, right? He wouldn't have needed to head halfway across the world and do a tour of the top gyms over there and seek counsel from half a dozen of their top trainers, Floyd, Clenelo among many others, and even have Usyk's old trainer come over to his gym. Usyk has literally done none of these things to try and gain an advantage and he's the one who is already giving away huge physicals advantages in every department and he's the B-side who has the deck stacked heavily against him.

We told you DKSAB casual shithouses for years that Usyk's speed, skills, footwork, movement, and ring IQ would cause these giants fits and we also told you, whilst acknowledging that of course it's possible, as it is for any HW facing big/huge punchers that size, that he could get clipped, that he's very tough and durable and that he has the power to hurt these giants, duh, because he's fought a ton of big/massive punchers and he's never been dropped or even really noticeably hurt by a head shot, including when facing 230-280lb giants in the WSB and he was able to stop a couple of them and that was a CW sized Usyk who hadn't bulked up for SHW because that wasn't his division.

These same DKSAB casuals were utterly convinced AJ was going to KO Usyk in the first fight and then when he proved them wrong by moseying into the lion's den of AJ backyard after being very inactive and proceeded to dominate the much bigger, heavier, longer and more powerful man in front of 65,000 + rabid AJ fans where everything was stacked heavily against him and heavily in AJ's favour they either refused to give Usyk credit or did so very reluctantly and made excuses, parroting the BS damage limitation excuses of AJ and E-Hearn.

Apparently AJ wasn't throwing hard shots even though he threw plenty of them and landed with many too. Nothing to do with Usyk's speed, movement and defensive of course.

But don't take my word for it

''It depends what Usyk brings as well. “It’s like trying to swat a fly. You know, because I’m the bigger man, I’m gonna’ go in there and just swat this fly and it is going to die.

"But you know how difficult it is to swat a fly because it moves around a lot and how energy-draining that is. I can’t just now come in and start boxing like Mike Tyson - it’s just not me - I have got to be the best me.''

    --Anthony Joshua

Weird how when certain types of master boxer use their speed, movement, ring IQ, defence and skills to outbox the bigger slower man the narrative is about what they did right and how great they were not what their opponent didn't do and how poor they were. Funny how the rules change, eh?

Of course these same people are now completely downplaying the fact that the war in Usyk's homeland, and anyone who knows anything about him knows how much he loves his country and how fiercely and unashamedly patriotic he is, might possibly negatively impact Usyk. I wonder what they would be saying if England had been invaded and London and other major cities were being heavily bombed

'But - after Tuesday’s Jeddah press conference, where Usyk stared Joshua down in their tense face-off - he refused to use the humanitarian crisis to his advantage.

Usyk said: "My friends, people close to me, have died in the war.

“When so many people are suffering I don't have any idea how it can influence anything positively.

"I was there for one month, I saw with my own eyes what happened there, rockets flying and fighter jets flying. It's horrible."

These same people seem to completely ignore the fact that the much smaller ''non-puncher'' was the only one out of the two who didn't get hurt in the first fight.

Less than 48 hours before the fight

“I know what I’m doing. I know exactly what I’m doing. I know what I’m gonna do. I know...Knockout, Kronk style. When I watch things, I like Emanuel Stewart’s mindset. Obviously you’ve got to do your As and Bs and Cs but is you follow them they’ll lead to you to KO — and that’s what we’re here to do, put on a spectacular show, people want to see knockouts and that’s what we’ve got to deliver for the fans.”

    --Anthony Joshua

We will see. How much money has the UK "given" to Ukraine for this war? Everybody's got a price.

Usyk admitted to being hurt a couple of times by Joshua. If he hurt him the first time...he can hurt him the second. go for broke from the opening bell.
