I used to assume even for a while after their fight that Oscar from Mosley would've smashed Pacman but I no longer think it's a safe assumption. Marquez and others have chin-checked him but Pac's history with his weights and essentially his volume of fights and quality opponents tells me this isn't as helpful as checking the paper nor particularly telling about his underappreciated defensive maneuvering. I think it may be down to left-hand-dominance that it might negate Oscar's considerable size advantage, even in their primes but that's not enough to feel confident edging to Pacquiao. I see Oscar being able to pull the trigger on Manny in his prime, but I have a feeling that where they both tend to shoot what I would just call offensive flurries-an educated but not especially accurate burst of punches made to get in and out before the counter attack-that Pacquiao would end up landing sharper and more consistent connects, which may win the rounds. But this version of Oscar could potentially flatten or rock Pacquiao in far fewer connects than Pacquiao would make, I just wouldn't gauge the likelihood of that with any certainty anymore. I think it would be incredibly interesting now and while my gut feeling is that Oscar is physically too much for Pac in his prime, I still see a style problem that makes the fight very questionable.
