What are some wins that were consideres big at the time but over the years aged like milk?

E.g. Calzaghe vs Lacy and Lewis vs Tyson.

A lot of it seem to depend on how the loser goes on with his career.
You have guys like bhop vs Pavlik or Hagler vs Mugabi that seem to ruin those guys and therefore aging a solid win like milk as well.

    More examples?

I don't really think they do tbh, because nothing can't detract from how important the win was at the time.

    Golovkin over Proksa.

Proksa was seen as a bit of a hot shot at the time. Some guys said he might be better than Korobov back then. While I'm not sure about that, Proksa was nevertheless expected to be a stiff test. GGG blew him out and now nobody remembers Proksa.

That's the problem with all Golovkin opponents: Proska, Macklin, Geale, Jacobs, Canelo

It’s easy to say “oh that guy was never that good.” because his career took a downward turn after a loss…

But it’s also ignorant, and drawing assumptions at best in many cases too.

A loss can be psychologically devastating to a fighter, and a fighter who may have been great could end up not only falling short of their potential but even regressing after losing depending on the circumstances of the loss and several other factors….

Good call, Buster went from giving one of the best heavyweight performances in years, then reverted to the listless efforts of his past. I've always wondered what the best version of Buster could have done with Holy.
