That is just pure racism on the part of the WBC then. There are fighters who compete from ghastly regimes from around the world. The WBC should not allowed to sanction fights in the United States.
Yup..."logistical issues" (according to Rivas's promoter). Whatever that means... Perhaps they couldn't find an arena small enough to host it in...
The USA doesn’t let people into their country who aren’t treble stabbed. They don’t accept pre travel covid tests for the ‘unvaccinated’. It is one of the very few countries in the world that has this policy. I know of China, New Zealand and Singapore as others like that. A lot of people including boxers can’t actually legally enter the USA because of this. This has caused other fights to be cancelled and relocated.
Your behind the times a bit. At least in some places. For example, NYC professional athletes were given a waiver on the vaccine requirement once it became obvious that to do otherwise would require the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets to sit out the enitrety of the 2021-2022 NBA season. https://theathletic.com/news/new-yo...ng-nets-knicks-yankees-and-mets/NKv6xZ21UogN/
Those are domestic travel rules (within the USA). I was referring to international travel rules and what I said is correct.
