Waleska Roldan was a judge in the Pac-Horn fight.

I would say to the blind. But I doubt they could even get to a score as egregious as that.

Isn't that the broad that scored it wide for Horn against Pac?

I gotta say, I found his willingness to open up, show some vulnerability and shed tears about his battle with anxiety and depression very refreshing. Especially the part where he said he wanted to be a good father and refound his passion for the sport, and it showed tonight. I hate to say this, but Danny finally won me over tonight. He's a good dude, and I'm happy for him that he's in a much better headspace.

Garcia looked good, but he is no natural 154 pounder. Charlo will make him look bad.

DSG Harrison would be a banger. Didn't seem like Danny wants Harrison at all though, and for good reason. As great as Danny looked against Benavidez, Harrison would be a much more difficult fight for him. Harrison gave the current Undisputed 154-lb Champ his only loss and beat him by UD. I just think Harrison would be too much for Danny, but it would be a very interesting fight. Danny as well as he did got hit a lot by Benavidez, which isn't really surprising given the reach advantage Benavidez had. Harrison is much more elusive, doesn't just stand in front of you like Benavidez and is an accurate puncher.

It looks like Danny has other plans than Harrison, I don't think he's getting a rematch with Thurman any time soon, fighting Lara at 155 for the MW Title is what he says he wants. Lara would probably be interested in that but I'm not sure Lara can make 155 or would agree to that weight. This forum should be all over Danny for talking about fighting Lara at 155 for the MW Title considering the kind of heat Canelo got for fighting at 155. But it's hard to hate on a guy who put in a great performance and then after the fight showed true emotion like he did. It was an impressive performance by Garcia. Just the way he fought was really inspiring to be honest, getting right into the pocket early on, showing angles, upper body movement, elusiveness, and good footwork, lateral motion, really frustrated Benavidez, and the combinations, the body work.

Yeah he's just not the same anymore. His leg was even worse in the Crawford fight, the damage left now is going to be permanent unfortunately

Harrison would box his nut off and Danny don’t have that killer pop at 154.

    easy win for super bad

While his mobility is limited, he's still a very good fighter in the pocket, blocks well, is rangey and he landed a good amount of shots on Danny. I thought Benavidez was doing better than the commentators were making it out to be. The commentary was very pro Danny Garcia and Steve Farhood's card was like he was auto-scoring rounds for DSG. While Garcia was looking really good, he wasn't actually dominating rounds or anything, most of those first 8 rounds were close rounds. Garcia won a lot of those rounds by doing a lot little things that were eye catching, i.e. the body punches, the flashy combinations, the movement, the ring generalship.

The Showtime commentators were doing something really annoying, they were creating a narrative as the fight went on. After 9 rounds they started citing Compubox numbers and saying Benavidez had so much less body shots landed than in his last fight, as if that had any bearing on this fight. Of course he's gonna land less body shots on DSG than who he fought last, Danny's body is a small target and he's shorter, Benavidez had to like crouch down to Danny's height at times land shots. I just think that thee commentary team were doing everything thy could to like cheerlead for Danny Garcia, and spin what is happening to make it look like dominating win for Danny. Now I was rooting for DSG, but I still found that annoying.

DSG wasn't dominating, it was impressive, it was inspiring even given the way Danny performed. DSG won this fight, but there is an argument for a draw or 115-113. I think you can find 5 or 6 rounds to give to Benavidez. But to give a lot of those round to him, you have to conclude that he was landing the heavier flush shots on DG, and that he was backing Danny up, was the "effective aggressor", etc. Now it was abundantly apparent that DSG was the ring general in there, and that he was outclassing Benavidez, he was, but "effective aggression" is more debatable. In some rounds Benavidez was imposing his will on Danny and was catching him with well timed shots. Garcia took those shots well and he didn't seemed hurt by anything, but Benavidez is an accurate puncher and he did seem like the heavier puncher in there. DG I think tried to negate Benavidez's reach advantage by getting right into the pocket early and making a statement that he is more than willing to fight in the pocket, but then later in the fight Danny really started using his footwork and moving side to side on Benavidez, at times the range changing was awkward nervous energy movement from DG was confusing and frustrating Benavidez

DSG didn't want anything to do with TH when asked about fighting him.

Danny's always been a good dude. He tried trash talking Porter and it was the most awkward thing ever. And he's cried before on camera during an interview with Mark Kriegel. Last night was something else, though, and I'm glad he got to let it all out.
