Better than the rumoured Jerry Forrest fight. Big makh by stoppage all the same though.

stepping up in class each fight now and seems to be more active again, hopefully this fight will get him the attention of one of the bigger promoters though.

Decent step up. Even the current past his primw Takam caused Joyce problems (I had Takam winning going into the final round before it prematurely stopped).

Exactly what I predicted and wanted all along. Why on a friday night though? This could have easily been on an undercard on one of the bigger fights.

If he beats Takam he should call out Chisora, Whyte, Dubois, Helenius.

Good, Forrest fight was also good.

There should be a lot of very solid HW fights with Makhmudov in it.

    Bakole, Pulev, Whyte, Helenius.

Will be good to see him in with a proven quantity like Takam. Sure Takam is 41 now but he's always in shape and as the Joyce fight showed still has enough left to perhaps test him a little before coming undone like he usually does.

Very good matchup. Big Mak will have to work hard for this win.

Maybe he can have Bakole, Wallin, Dubois, Helenius in some eliminator next.

Makhmudov will level Takam with the floor, Takam is good but he is only a stepping stone for better fighters...

In a division full of carefully-matched pampered prima donnas, Carlos Takam is a true ring warrior who's always been willing to fight anybody, anytime, anywhere.

Takam is a good bench mark test. If Mak blows him out people will take notice.

Reckon Takam will be stopped late, no blow out.
