Hell yeah I was impressed with Cotto, imagine if he had a chim like Margo and stamina. But anyway he fought an elite threat and held his on. I felt he was winning before the stoppage. But a close great fight

NOPE, 2 of the judges had Margarito ahead going into the 11th round.

margarito was just the bigger, stronger, better man tonight. hopefully cotto will continue to give fight fans good fights and wasn't ruined by that beating he took in the last few rounds. ie., meldrick taylor, david reid, F. Vargas, and others who took beatings and were never the same after.

i see..i didn't knew that, i thought cotto was ahead on the cards. Well i could understand, they gave it to the aggressor, the one making the fight

That's a very good point. Even when he had Cotto hurt in the 7th he didn't go crazy and wild trying to finish despite being behind on the cards and that comes from experience. He bided his time and wore Cotto down then applied the final squeeze. I bet that he paced himself and had some big fireworks saved up for the 12th where he would go berserk if Cotto lasted that far.

I gotta tell you all, I love that this was a real fighters night. Nice to take a break from the intensified tactical **** for a bit. I respect that stuff as much as I can (Mayweather fans). But this was just a ****in' battle/brawl. Gotta love it.

Believe me you're not the only one that was impressed by Cotto. During the fight, I always knew he was good, but the way he kept landing on Marg at will. I said to myself, "he is damn good". I never realized how good Cotto was until tonight as far as his boxing skills. I thought the fight was going to be a one sided UD for Cotto.

I was annoyed with the HBO chearleaders not giving Margarito the credit he deserved during the fight. if you listened to them you'd think it was a landslide going into the eleventh. i had margarito 6 rounds to 4 going inot the 11th.

i disagree that margo was the better fighter tonight, he was simply the better chinned guy... but i definitely agree to the beating part!

I think this is the only time whan I wasn't made that my prediction was wrong. He fought his ass off and I have nothing but respect for him. Also Margo gain my respect, but to tell yall the truth I never gave him a chance. But I'm a believer now, even if his fundamentals are not the best

Well, yeah, Margarito had a better chin, but chin obviously plays an important role in the outcome of a FIGHT!

So yes, Margarito DID prove he was the better fighter tonight, even though he is not a better tactical boxer.
