I don't want to miss the big fight in about an hour. Normally,i never do leg resistance training 2 days in a row...What does conventional wisdom say? I can do the lunges and pushups, shadowboxing tonight, leaving less to do tomorrow..But, i have overtrained legs at times by doing resistance training and then doing sprints against heavy resistance the following day on the eliptical machine. My legs felt heavy for 5 days.

Wisdom says let the muscles recover.

Or do less intensity but more often.

I'd avoid hitting the legs back to back

Leg presses are good kettlebell swings, barbell lunges, and squats. I prefer barbell squats, front squats and box jumps
