Question was; why isn't Benitez in instead of Hagler? Like MMH, he fought Leonard, Hearns & Duran. AND he fought them closer to their natural weights. I think he has the greater justification.
But Hagler's more famous and his fights against SRL & Hearns were two of the biggest fights of the '80s, so he got the slot.

Agreed regarding Benitez's chances against Hagler. He definitely had the skillset to outbox him over 12. Another king from the 80's that didn't get the opportunity to fight any of these guys but stood a great chance of beating them was McCallum. I could absolutely see him being more than competitive with all of these guys.

Benitez was more or less shot at 25 years old. A unique talent, on his best nights could beat alot of people.
