Wilder has always been overrated so nothing new there really. All I am talking about is the proverbial punchers chance. Boxing wise it’s a mismatch.
Interesting to note that even with the wide differing view we have on ESB no one is actually predicting a Wilder win which I think is telling in itself. Oh that’s now changed a few picking a Wilder knockout.
An uncoordinated low skill one-trick pony can crusher hype job mega buffoon with a huge right hand who can't box and who gets outboxed by D levels who can't box vs a super skilled super agile and coordinated master boxer who is literally light years ahead of him in terms of skills and talent. Usyk would absolutely toy with him in his sleep and make him look like an even bigger uncoordinated unskilled buffoon than he already is. He would dance circles around him and land at will.
Yes he does. Accumulation punishment against a hittable guy with a shaky jaw. Does Wilder have the power to KO Usyk though? It'll have to be with one punch since he won't be landing multiple shots on his jaw.
Joyce, Medzhidov, Nistor, Beterbiev... Usyk had faced plenty of huge punchers in his career. Only been hurt and down from body shots. Wilder doesn't throw body shots so he isn't putting Usyk down.
I doubt Wilder quits on his stool, though his fans will wish he had done in the aftermath. He'll be taking clean sharp shots from an increasingly dominant Usyk once the warm up phase is through, and there'll be very little hope for a comeback since Usyk isn't a sloppy mess that loses focus and walks onto shots that send shock waves rippling down his jelly rolls.
To be fair he was down three time in total to body punch, 2 time to Beterbiev, and all of that body shots was in the side/hip area, and he get up immediately and beat the living ***** after that, so his recovery was insane. The third time against Medzhidov was low blow after Usyk deflected a shot, and it hits low. The referee count it, but the judges ignore it, and score the round 10-9 for Usyk. Even Medzhidov appologies for it.
LOL, a feather fisted Cruiser could not KO a Bodybuilder who spit his mouth piece out and quit against a morbid obese average hitting Taco stand owner who s best fight before was loosing to the tame samoan aka paint dry Parker. The fat Mex stopped a undefeated Bodybuilder on short notice...............Usyk went 12 with sloppy left overs. If you believe Usyk stops Wilder I have some ocean front property in Arizona I can sell you...... If one predicts a Usyk UD, fine , its a free world but Wilder has landed his money punch on every SINGLE fighter he has met in the Ring and only a 275 pounds generational freak of Nature was able to get up from it and beat him...................the same Fury who toyed with a far fresher club fighter Cisora who pushed while being completely shop worn the super duper feather fisted Cruiser.
Usyk's movement, tucked-in guard and shorter height would ensure Wilder would struggle to land anything at all. Think Fury/Wilder II but with Usyk being a smaller, faster, more awkward target. Usyk by landslide UD or stoppage in the final rounds.
I have to disagree with that, Joshua is far more predictable, does not use the full ring, blows after a combination, can not fight for a full round and has much slower hands than Wilder.Wilders lack of basic boxing fundamentals and unorthodox approach along with his power is part of what makes him such a dangerous fighter.
