This content is protected 12:10 At the video Teo admits Lots of props to Teofimo for winning the fight against Lomachenko but the more I check about that fight you could clearly see it wasn't a 100% Loma with the shoulder injury. Now Teofimo says that every fighter is not 100% but listening to some of his interviews before the fight you can see that he knew Loma was pro injury.
Lomachenko was the champ, the a side and the holder of all the cards. All Lopez did was take the fight and beat him.
Agreeing to fight with an existing injury is not only dangerous, it's unethical. The fans and those who make bets are cheated. Fights are postponed all the time, it's not that Loma was ruined and in dire need for the money. He could just have pulled out and rescheduled the fight after getting surgery.
No excuses Fury fought Wilder with two shot elbows walked head first into his best shots and still came out triumphant great fighters find a way to win. Loma needed a go out on his shield mentality earlier in that bout his tactics were all wrong he waited him out for too long.
Lopez was also a champ. All I'm saying is that Loma was injured and Lopez knew about it (admittedly). He was injured in Campbell fight and still got the W. My point is that Lopez knew about this and used to say a different story before the fight, thats why now Lopez wouldn't like to rematch Loma
Lomachenko knew he was injured when he made the fight, also he specifically chose to not give Lopez a rematch clause. He swung his A side dick on negotiations and got beat. Tough ****. I'd like to see them go at it again though. I reckon Loma has another crack at the top jn him.

Not crying about this fight. I agree Loma got beat, but he had shoulder surgery right after. Teo said that it was an excuse but he knew about it beforehand. He admits in the video and after the fight he changed his speech. A lot has passed since and Teofimo lost to Kambosos. Teofimo is giving up even worst explanations for his loss to the Aussie. The point of the thread is not on how Loma won that fight but on how Teofimo is full of ****
I care as much about Loma's injury heading into the fight as I do about Teo's health issues heading into the Kambosos fight.
Loma was in the driver's seat and he made the fight, didn't disclose an injury and didn't put a rematch clause in the contract. He lost. It's ok.
Loma's overconfidence cost him this fight, he thought Lopez was a pushover and would have beaten him with ease.
sLomo lost to old and young, green and ancient, small and large, inside and outside. Still a solid B+ fighter with a hilariously overrated, hand picked resume like Rigo or Saliddadio that went horribly wrong. How do you even buy a title fight you never earned then lose it with judges on payroll?
