I would be very impressed if he does beat Joyce, because it would mean he has completely retooled as a fighter, because everything I have seen so far from Parker suggests Joyce is a horrible style for him and will overwhelm him. I admire your faith as a fan but to me it's just blind faith and not based on anything but the desire to believe in your fighter.
Parker will probably focus on the body, slow Joyce down that way, and win by points. Hard to apply pressure with broken ribs or bruised organs.
Pulev is taller compared to same competition and he is labeled as 6'3.5" Joyce will both have a size and stamina advantage. Parker should be able to take some early rounds. Think the fight Will be a bit similar to Joyce vs Dubois.
Good luck to both fighters, and good job backing your man up! I don't often root for particular fighters, but I must admit I do for hometown guys.
A large kudos to him if he pulls it off. I appreciate him for taking the risk and giving Joyce a needed opportunity to impress against an established name who isn't shopworn as all get-out.
If you think there is a 1 inch difference in height you are way off the mark. Joyce is very likely the 6’5.5” he claims. Parker I don’t think is even 6’3”.
