has said he will return in October/November but unfortunately most of his peers are either fighting or injured. Spence will be fighting Crawford in November with Stanionis facing Cody Crowley on the undercard. Vergil Ortiz is fighting at the end of the year against Alexis Rocha. Benn is fighting Eubank Jr in October. Ugas is still recovering from his eye injury. Thurman doesn't want that smoke. David Avenesyan is fighting Jon Miguez on the Joyce vs Parker undercard. 5 guys I would not mind seeing boots fight are 1. Rashidi Ellis. Very skilled and slick fighter. I think his lack of power will be his undoing here. 2.Alexander Besputin. I like watching him fight and he would be a good name on Boots resume. 3. Radzab Butaev. Only guy on this list that I think could go the distance. Very tough guy and very skillful too. 4. Mean Machine. Never in a dull fight. Hurt both Crawford and Ortiz and definitely has power. 5.Thulani Mbenge. Honestly a blast out. Lol
Mean machine would be perfect because he's like a chin checker, but i doubt he would fight him right after Ortiz
Mean Machine is the only one on the list I see as a possibility. Boots also said he'd be willing to fight Stanionis and they're looking to put him in on the Spence/Crawford undercard if it happens. I could possibly see that as well. It wouldn't take much to have his opponent step aside.
Anybody in the top 4 would do, tho id really like to see him fight Kief those would be decent fights for Boots. Link on Ortiz-Rocha?
I don't think this is set in stone just yet They are both PBC fighters but Stanionis is the WBA Regular Champion and none of the other bodies have him in their rankings. Crowley is ranked in the the Top 10 by everybody except for the WBA... Ennis is the #2 contender to the WBA (Ortiz is #1 but he won't be ready by Nov) so I really don't see why that fight can't take soon. If Spence ducks the fight (as usual) and ends up fighting Thurman instead of Crawford in November then it'll be an all PBC card and they will get some in house fighter for Stanionis and Ennis will be left in the wind. That gets interesting because Crawford will have to defend his WBO belts - and Ortiz and Ennis are ranked #1 and 2 respectively.
hes only interested in danny garcia. sick of his fake injuries, pricing himself out and just straight running from crawford and spence.
