Wilder only lost to Fury. How should it work? I don't know personally. Should Wilder beat a few top 5-10 guys to get back into position or does the fact that his only loss was to Fury, who is now vacating? I could understand if Wilder lost to a different fighter and was put in the #1 mandatory position, but I don't have a problem with it.

 

Wilder should have to climb his way back up top by beating some contenders.

Wilder to scared to get ring with Whyte and povetkin never mind the likes AJ and Usyk. Then Wilder actually beat them? Well team certainly don't have confidence in him doing hence the history of ducking and the best opponent he has beaten Whole career is Ortiz (who only noteworthy wins are against Jennings and Martin). Whilst poor opposition such as Nicholls, Scroniers Spzilka and Washington have all caused Wilder issues.

Wilder will probably beat a non top HW such as Helenius and start bum carousel again of defences avoiding the likes of Usyk, AJ, Parker, Joyce, Ruiz, Sanchez, Hrgovic, Hunter Bakole, Jalolov, Gassiev etc that would all beat Wilder if Haymon allowed him to fight them.

 

I think the question is what does Haymon have Maurico.

 

Surely if Wilder beats Usyk then Joshua could redeem everything?

Wilder and Joshua will never fight each other. The promotional divide between Haymon and Hearn is too large. If it didn’t happen back in 2017/18 when they were both undefeated and held all 4 belts between them, it will never happen. And it’s a massive shame.
