    Prime for prime.

Might this be more interesting than some would think?

It won't be interesting for long for poor Ingo.

Have to go with Joe by the middle rounds, but Ingo could make it interesting while it lasts.

I suppose if Oscar could put Joe down, perhaps so could Ingo.

But I hasten to add, Ingo eventually gets mauled and smashed.

I like smoking joe but I think he is kinda overrated because he gave hell to Ali, Ingemar johanson had dinamite in his hands so he has a chance everyone suddenly forgot how easily destroyed Machen the same guy who fought Frazier when old . I would favor smoking joe 60-40 but this is not a mismatch. Frazier was also a slow starter

It would be interesting to see what would occur if Ingo landed the hammer onto Joe early on if Joe was making one of his customary slow starts.
You’d have to favour Joe though to overpower Ingo and I don’t think it would necessarily go into the second half of the fight for him to do it.

Agree. I would pick Frazier to win by stoppage but he might have to take a few big ones before it happens. Probably a good action fight.

Joe Frazier almost never stopped a GOOD fighter inside of 3. I don’t place ingo in the same category as Manuel Ramos or Dave Ziglewicz

Ingo had nice, light feet but he ain't keeping away from this threshing machine.

I also don't recall him throwing lots of uppercuts which would serve him well here.

    Joe KO8

An eighth round KO for Joe Frazier is a very reasonable prediction

Ingo probably wouldn't take Frazier's punch any better than those guys did. He's not too elusive, Frazier is twice the force of Patterson, not mention bigger and stronger. Who had ever stopped George Chuvalo before he met Frazier? Joe got him out 3 or 4 rounds. Jimmy Ellis never had been down as a heavyweight until Joe Frazier turned the trick.

Honestly I would have suggested a 1st round stoppage if Joe hadn't been a slow starter.

Ingo wouldn't be able to do a "george foreman" on frazier.
His reach was like 3 inches shorter than Joe's, and even if Joe got caught.....well, he took straight shots from Foreman and got up and kept fighting.
While a big hitter, i doubt ingo had the awe inspiring power and strength of foreman.
Joe would cut the ring off, storm inside and after that, it is just a matter of time…
