Someone who comes to mind for me is Wilfredo Benitez, the radar, had his very own spider-sense, and any man that can evade SRL so consistently is bordering on superhuman. There's a reason SRL himself said he never had missed so many punches in his life.

EDIT: To put it another way, imagine if were to have no footage of any fighter, what fighter would sound most mythical in such a sense? Greb comes to mind in this case that it's hard to believe a man like him existed.

    Benitez of course, the radar.
Jones Jr. in his prime ,,, WOW!
M.Taylor hand speed was simply cartoonish.
Hearns and J.Jackson almost super human power at Welt and Jr.Middleweight
Ali a 6'3" 215 lbs. man shouldn't be able to move like he did in his prime.

SRL knock him out so you must include SRL also on this category

Floyd Mayweather Jr. (Floyd was the perfect combination of talent, speed, defense, skill and hard work)
    Roy Jones Jr.
    Manny Pacquiao
    Nicolino Locche
    Pernell Whitaker
    Mike Tyson
Willie Pep (Trying to hit Pep was like trying to nail Jell-O to a tree)

Some of the stories opponents told about the effects of George "Tire Iron" Jones's left hook frankly sound like someone made him up.

Louis's resume looks almost fictional if we didn't have film. That level of heavyweight dominance isn't plausible.

The stories people tell about Shavers's power would sound silly of they weren't so unanimous about it.

Butterbean is a cartoon character in human form.

Prime John L put more distance between himself and his contenders than any heavyweight since.

Benny Leonard comes to mind., too. And of course Langford.

This screams Langford. Reading the first-hand accounts of his power seems like bizarro world. Seems unbelievable that a guy his size could be regarded as hitting as hard as the hardest hitting HWs.

Also, pre-exile Ali. 6'3", 215, as fast as a fast MW? It would seem like a major exaggeration.

Benitez? He got slapped down and off the canvas multiple times by Curry, Wilfred dodged a lot but shot nothing back most of the time and when he did get tagged his way of moving proved to be an issue.
