As for underrated, Davey Moore KO10 Ayub Kalule. Kalule was an experienced, viable challenger on the way back, and showed he had plenty of fight left. Moore showed a resilience and toughness and grit belying his brevity of fights. He showed he was the goods that day. Making Duran's victory over him perhaps a decent pick for an underrated win, if people didn't already slobber all over everything Duran did.

Some miss the details of why the 1st fight was close
and the 2nd fight so one sided.
Especially when considering all the advantages were in
Fenech's favor in the 2nd fight including the location.
A very underrated win for Nelson.
He simply was a much better fighter than Fenech.

Honestly our exchange just underscores how wonderful a space this forum is to seriously talk/debate boxing with civility. We all are passionate and I know I’ve crossed the line before myself, but the fact that on this forum someone can do that and then say ‘my bad, got a little heated, back to the topic …’ and go on even while not in agreement is a rare thing on the internet these days.

No harm, no foul. All is well.

Reminds me of Meldrick Taylor-Aaron Davis and everyone thinking Taylor had nothing after the first Chavez fight. He still looked good in this fight, at a division he was kind of undersized in.

Once 1992 hit, he declined fast. But he fought very well against Davis and had a nice win here.

In the same spirit, Pep's win over Saddler is a phenomenal win considering Saddler's style, power and size.

He was naturally bigger and more powerful than Fenech, I don`t think any bantamweight could have beaten Nelson, Nazeem and Oliveres were the only two fighters that started at bantam that could match Nelson`s power.

Taylor looked far better at 140 than 147, Chavez was on another level to Davis P4P.
