Simple question, will Tyson Fury fight again? I'm not asking if he's being sincere about his recent retirement announcement. I'm just asking if you think he's really going to end his career undefeated at the relatively young age of 34? There is also the matter of whether or not he would be willing to pass up all of the money that would be offered for a fight with the Joshua-Usyk winner?
I agree. Admittedly, Fury is a unique-thinking kind of guy who can surprise us but it just seems unlikely with unfinished business still ahead.
I honestly hope not. He is hurting boxing taking multiple year to two year sabbaticals and calling out body builders and the like. Let a real fighting man take the title, and enjoy retirement.
He'll beat the winner of A vs U - fight a bum of the month club for a few years and become a wrestling announcer that KOs heals from time to time. Either way he's filthy rich and can do what he wants.
He will. If he was serious about retirement he would've done it after the Whyte fight and dropped all his belts then. Why wait now right before the Usyk-Joshua fight? It's mind games and attention seeking from Fury. He'll be back to fight for undisputed in early 2023.
Is the correct answer. I fail to see how Fury can reasonably be held accountable for any holdups at this point, given that a certain pair haven't yet settled their contracted business. But accessing the irrational corners of BF24 members' hearts and minds seems to be his forte.
IF Fury were to fight again it would be a Saudi fight for a lot of money. Fury knows this is the devil calling him & he could get burnt. Fury is clearly in touch with the outer realms and will not fall for these tricks Fury has met the devil head on twice before and won (Wlad & Wilder)...it might cost him his life the 3rd time...but he could create world peace in the process. Maybe he is just helping Wilder get a big payday, if Wilder gets the WBC belt again and he faces the winner of Usyk - Joshua, the winner of that fight vs Fury could be Pacquiao - Mayweather level in terms of $
