A much improved, but much protected, 147 facing a career fringe (at best) world level 160 who has lost the 2 most meaningful fights he’s been in & managed to avoid the serious players in his weight division(s), fighting in a random weight that they haven’t fought at before (& won’t ever again) just because their fathers fought. Sure I will watch but can’t get up for it at the moment.

It sounds good. So could it be that DAZN UK can start living up to everything that Eddie "PPV is killing the sport of boxing" Hearn promised last summer ?

DAZN should just stick to what it is and be transparent simply charging a Box Office fee per card and get rid of the pointless monthly subscription.

The price should start at £1.99 for the standard DAZN UK card rising to £99.99 for watching elite, undefeated, unbeatable superstars such as Anthony Joshua, Connor Benn and Chris Eubank Jnr.

Course it will as they don't have any content to spend the money on.

Shouldn't we be nice and give DAZN UK the benefit of the doubt ? Although right now it looks more like a PPV platform.

I will wait to make a final judgment until Eddie "PPV is killing the sport of boxing" Hearn presents Matchroom´s autumn schedule. How many shows can we expect on normal DAZN UK and how many will be PPV ?

DAZN UK and Matchroom are into year 2 with schedules clearly established so benefit of any doubt has long gone.

It is simply a streaming version of the old Prime Time Box Office channel on Sky with UK cards charged at £7.99 monthly subscription for 1 poor quality or next gen card per month and £26.99 PPV for any fight of note.

Never been a customer but that is what it looks to me from the outside and clearly many subscribers on here and social media think they have been short changed with poor cards and Box Office appearing on top of the subscription.

There is no evidence to show PPV buyers become long term DAZN subscribers.

It's also something that really surprises me. I saw the interview with Eddie Hearn where he stated that KSI and Eubank Jr./Benn combined would ensure 1 million new customers to DAZN UK ?

Does this mean that if you order Eubank Jr vs Benn as PPV on DAZN UK, you have also committed yourself as a DAZN customer for the following 3 or 6 months ?

Deep man, good theory. I still reckon they just wanna shag each other, pure sexual tension between them in that face off

Imagine subscribing for the PPV and then looking at the schedule and seeing **** all on.

When are they going to announce H2 line up?

DAZN has talked in the US about building up its potential subscriber base as a critical thing for growth. The more people they attract to the platform once, the more chance they’ve got of enticing them back again.

It's their job to grow DAZN UK. I fully understand that. The interesting thing is whether you are bound into a subscription of 3 or 6 months if you order a DAZN UK PPV event ?

No way, that would be crazy

What it is, you sign up to DAZN for a month and you get the ppv at a discount. Basically the monthly fee off the ppv so it all works out the same. Buy the ppv outright or sign up to a subscription and get a month of nothing for the same cost. Except now they have your details, you're signed up and they hope you forget or don't care enough to cancel

In their defence that's because they haven't actually done one yet

No interest but hope Eubank doesn’t fanny about trying to be Roy Jones and just gets in and irons Benn out.
