His heart kept up cos his body could absorb those punches, benefit of being the bigger man. He lost to Daniel Santos at 154 because he was lacking that size advantage to simply wlak his opponent down without worrying about damage(what he did to Cotto). He lost to Paul Williams who was probably equal in size to him, both of whom are not really WW's but JMW-MW easily.

Like I said, if Margo moved up to MW to go toe to toe with someone his size, do you think his heart and durability would keep up? Do you think he could walk Pavlik or Abraham down?

Margo can be outboxed but Cotto has never been the runner outboxer type. Margo possesed a huge stylistic advantage in this fight that benefited his size very well.

When this fight was first a posibility, my bro who is a huge Cotto fan picked Cotto instantly. I thought Margo would edge it in a war. After seeing Cotto beat Mosley and demolish Gomez I got caught in the hype and thought Cotto will simply outbox Margo. He nearly did but in the end, that style advantage which his size played such a big role in came through.

Marg not in my top 10, but even worse, Calderon doesn't belong in the top 10 at all. Marg enters my top 15 though, naturally.

Well... putting up Margarito is giving me headaches... where to put him is my question exactly. A close/controversial win over Clottey, a loss to Willams and a brutal victory over the great Cotto... maybe 8-th-9th - but thinking about it, considering the last 24 months, I can't put Tony ahead of Mijares or Calderon...

But he's definitely a Top10 P4P-er! Rematches with Williams, Cotto, Clottey, please!
