STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!! It obvious that Cotto is the better fighter/boxer with way more skill and polish but Margs style is horrible for him. Shane Mosley is 10times better then Margarito too but would probably also lose because of style match-up.

Floyd IMO has a good style to beat Margarito because Cotto proved if you box with movement and accuracy then Marg will simply follow you around and look sloppy.

This is my opinion, what do you guys think?

    you have a point
I also think that margo's being the naturally bigger man and his punching 80-100 times a round has something to do with why he won too

i agree 100%. i see Floyd simply outboxing Marg b/c unlike Cotto, Floyd wouldnt let himsefl lay on the ropes and wait to exchance with Margarito. he would simply potshot margarito.

Cotto definitley showed margarito can be EASILY outboxed. If cotto only had more stamina, he could have beaten him.

So personally, i see floyd easily dealing with margarito.

however, i see floyd having a hard time against Cotto b/c Floyd cant physically were Cotto down b/c clearly the only way to wear cotto down is to pressure him like never before and that's not floyd's style.

    so definitely. styles makes fight.

    margarito is wrong for cotto
    floyd is wrong for margarito
    cotto is wrong for floyd.

I think with more stamina work, Cotto could beat margarito in a rematch.

styles make fights but floyd is better at switching styles then any of these guys are... floyd does alot of body punching and will break you down to the body but in a way where he doesn't get hit as much has the usual body puncher does. cotto simply doesn't have the stamina to deal with a mayweather... mayweather is a much more accurate puncher, better defensively, and can go inside and out.... i think he would make the cotto fight look easy

i think if there wasd to be a re-match then cotto would win, he started to lose it. i think he would try going for the body more himself and also he would no what to expect and he would out box him for sure. not taking nothing away from margos brilliant performance.

remember that floyd likes to sit on the ropes and you cant do that with margarito especially when you have no power to gain his respect margarito would do the same to mayweather perhaps worse than what he had done to cotto look what oscar was doing to floyd when he had him on the ropes and oscar was just throwing pitty pats

You have to get his respect. This running bull**** is not going to work.

Keep thinking about that Baldomir fight. I've already told you Baldomir was an old man. His legs were gone before he even got in the ring with Mayweather.

Margarito makes 147 everytime, on the first try. And on fight night he has the energy in his legs to hunt down his opponent. He isn't 36 like Baldomir he's only 30.

Again if Mayweather tries to potshot all night he is gonna have a very hungry, young, big welterweight on him for the full 12 rounds. No old ass broken down Baldomir. A real legitmate threat.
