Did Usyk really beat Chisora?

Post-Covid first gear Usyk cruised to a comfortable decision. Probably didn't want to scare the bodybuilder as well.

 

I gave Chisora 3 rounds and that's coming from a big Chisora fan. If you think it was close then you should contact Matchroom, I hear they're looking for judges for the next Campbell Hatton fight, lol.

 

Plenty of people need to take there tinted goggles off regarding this fight.

I had Usyk winning but he didn't breeze through the fight ever so comfortably like some make out , Chisora gave him a tough nights work.

Speaks volumes that it was reported in the media that Usyk's own team weren't sure if he'd be getting his hand raised straight after the fight.

 

I'll have to back him up here - I can't remember exactly who it was but I remember watching interviews on the likes of IFL etc after the fight and this definitely did get said as it stuck in my mind.

People need to be realistic. Usyk looked worse than expected (arguably on purpose) amd there were still questions about him at heavy.
However he won an 8-4 type decision quite clearly.
You can have it 9-3/7-5 but he still cmearly won though.

 

Lol it wouldn't have been on purpose. He wasn't initially planned to be AJ's next opponent and would've boxed someone else prior to eventually getting his shot at the titles if the arbitration case between Fury and Wilder didn't end the way it did.

Up until that point, Fury v AJ was as close as it had ever had been and that was the fight next in line.

 

Wasnt he mandatory cause he had wbc and moved up?
I remember that being their policy and him being in line as a potential obsacle for Fury vs AJ.

 

You and the judges should learn how to score. Usyk won nine rounds.

 

Yeah I thought he won pretty comfortably. Wasn't an easy fight though.

 

Even Adelaide Byrd had it 6-4 for Usyk.
