He's just talking **** while most likely drunk and high, Fury already made enough money and is nearly 500 pounds, I don't think he has it in him to fight anymore.

Of course he is not retired. They will pay him at least $100M for the undisputed match.

Plus, Usyk's hits will be lighter than Wilder, so why wouldn't he take this match?

It would be incomprehensible if Fury did not agree to additional earnings and a title unification...

Furys team are just trying to get a massive payday.

They have been very smart these last few years.

They know fighting usyk or indeed joshua if he would have won would be the most difficult test of his career.

They've played it brilliantly up until now hyping wilder whilst knowing tyson was never in any real danger, building furys profile etc. Let the rest of the division play out, using the fact that AJ is too proud to take a bum fight such as schwarz or wallin to their advantage (tyson would have vacated the wbo and played the long game ). Let AJs pride cost him and have tyson come out smelling of roses whilst not actually taking and real risks or fighting anyone legit.

Now fury is playing the retirement card in the knowledge that if the world will be calling for him to fight uysk.

Fury knows usyk is an absolute elite fighter, better than anyone he's faced and the only guy in the division a better boxer than himself.

So what better position to be in to demand obscene amounts of money for one last showdown. Fury can sit back and literally say if you want me give me half a mil or whatever. He can't lose either way, if they don't pay he will have most people believing he would have beat usyk anyway because of the excellent marketting/promotion hype that has been done with him.

Fair play tyson it's genius stuff
