Lewis would keep the range and smother/lean on him every time Usyk tried to come in with his angles.

    Lennox UD

I don’t think Lewis would lose to a bloke that is high volume and slick.

Would need to be a big puncher too.

Don’t think Usyk hits hard enough and Lewis was much better than Juicy J

I slightly favour Lewis as he was more physical and had a bigger right hand than Joshua. I think Lewis would be willing to let go of his hands more than Joshua did as well.

However, it wouldn't be easy. Lewis did not fight southpaws or at least never had a chance to fight a quality southpaw.

Marovic took Lewis the distance. An aging Mercer almost beat him. A 37 year old past it Holyfield was competitive vs Lewis in their second fight and may have beaten him if he were 3 years younger.

Lewis demolished large men like Golota and Grant but against quality smaller men like Mercer and Holyfield, and even Marovic, he was given competitive matches.

Lewis close UD 12 but Usyk has a real chance of an upset.

A prime Lennox Lewis is difficult for any ATG. Usyk lacks the major requirement to defeat Lewis, a one-punch KO. Lewis's ability to impose his size and power would make a substantial difference against Usyk.

Did Lewis ever fight an agile and skilled boxer as good as Usyk?

    Mercer, Rahman, McCall=Destroy Lennox

Lennox great prime wins= Tua, Vitali

How could Usyk ever hope to aspire to such a level?

Lennox fans made up their minds on him long before learning about his career.

Before you match all those past solid boxers with Usyk, can you at least tell us how many good southpaws they beat ?

Lewis. If he got Usyk in trouble like AJ did in round 9, he would have finished him off with that hard right cross.

Did Lewis murder Zeljko Mavrovic - skinny dude who was the same height and 7 lbs lighter than Usyk (yes, 214 lbs) and had absolutely ATROCIOUS resume?

great fight of course, I'd make prime Lewis a roughly 70:30 favourite. I think it's very hard to beat prime Lewis without real superheavyweight KO power. maybe hypothetically if Usyk had moved up at say 28-29, that version a couple of years down the line might have been close to a 50:50 shot.
