I had to wait for my son to make it to my house to watch the fight so I just finished watching it now. I scored the fight 117-111 for Usyk while my son had it 115-113. To my way of thinking this was not a fight with a whole lot of swing rounds and I cannot find a way to give Joshua seven rounds.

A few thoughts, Joshua fought better this time around but his activity level is too low to win a decision against the champ.

Joshua shook Usyk a couple of times and maybe even hurt him but he did a lousy job of following up with aggression. By the same token, after taking some great shots in round nine, Usyk came out and immediately took control of round 10. That was very impressive.

Usyk is obviously levels better than Deontay Wilder but after seeing how Joshua shook Usyk, if Wilder caught him solid he would knock him out. I'm not saying Wilder would catch him, I'm saying that if Usyk did get hit with one of Wilder's best he wouldn't be able to withstand the power.

Usyk is a really enjoyable fighter to watch and from a boxing skills point of view he is the best heavyweight since Ali.

The DAZN announcers need to learn that you don't have to freaking run your mouth for all three minutes of a televised fight. They're not doing play-by-play announcing on the radio.

I am a Jimmy Lennon fan as compared to Michael Buffer but Buffer's "Let's get ready to rumble." before a big fight is as exhilarating now as it was in the 1980s.

Couldn't help but feel wretched for the man (Usyk) while watching that. It was horrible.

The stuff about not being manufactured and rising above the mean streets of Watford was bad enough.

Worse was having to feel Usyk's palpable embarrassment and discomfort when Joshua started engaging him during the diatribe.

The 'hip, hip, hooray' and Ukraine stuff, trying to make the whole tragic exhibition appear to be an act of magnanimity and altruism.

    That weird 'bismillah' to finish...

It all made Tyson's Savarese post-fight outburst appear quite down-to-earth and restrained by contrast (baby-eating threat, praises to Allah and all).

Wow! Good fight, bad cards, right guy won. I was rooting for Usyk but I’ve always been a fan of both. Usyk probably has the most engaging and hilarious personality in boxing. AJ always seemed classy but his little temper tantrum lost me as a fan. He’s a classless punk like another Nigerian who frequents this site.

Congrats to Usyk. Canelo showed us how hard it is to beat a good fighter who is bigger. AJ was a LOT bigger than Usyk but Usyk proved he is the better boxer.

Just finished rewatching the 2 main fights.

I watched them live in the most disjointed fashion which I hate doing. So it was good to crack a beer and sit back to watch them properly.

Enjoyed the card. It was well matched for the most part.

Smith-Baderlique went as expected but it was great to see Matt not try to prolong it, he came to win and that suited Callum just fine. The finish was sweet.

El Animal vs Zhang was a really good fight IMO. I mentioned before it was an example of the better man not getting the decision but I don't think unfairly. Zhang put a bigger beating on Filip overall but clearly got outhussled later on.
Great beards on display by both men.

I personally did not see a bubble burst. Zhang is just a very dangerous man with damn good speed and snap in his punches for such a lump of a man.
I'd have no issue with a rematch but Chisora-Zhang would be fun, a fight I think Zhang would win.

The main was another enjoyable scrap. They talked a lot about dancing partners for the Fury-Wilder trilogy and I think these two gelled nicely again. Good tidy work from both and it was a tense stand up boxing match most of the way much like the first.
Joshua acquitted himself a little better this time but it wasn't enough.
The body work did the most damage but I don't think the 9th was as dire as some think. It's almost as if Usyk let him tee off to empty AJ's tank because he had nothing much left after.

I'm still picking Fury to beat Usyk but he will be a damn hard man to discourage. I feel Fury will have to either stop him or put on a defensive masterclass to stifle's Usyk's workrate.

Still like to see Joshua continue if he is there mentally.
I think a doss off with Fury at Wembley would be a huge fight still.

I have it on good authority that you are on the establishment's radar.

They're on to you and they're probably coming for you.

Keep a sharp eye out...make sure you're not being followed.
    Vary your habits...
Always check under your car before getting in...

    You probably know the drill.

Stay alert and Good Luck !

AJ fan here, although not as much of a fan as I was.

That 115-113 scorecard was a ****ing disgrace.

Most I could give AJ was 3 rounds.

They’re all “very good boxers” to be at this level, Joshua just neglects all his natural advantages to put on some technical masterclass

Usyk made Joshua look slow again. There wasn't much Joshua could do in there. His punch resistance looks very suspect these days with the Ruiz hammering. Time to retire.

No, he deserves to be violently KO'd a few times for that childish outburst, hopefully he overstays his welcome, to an Omar Figueroa extent.

Whats worse is you have simpletons on here calling it a humble speech. WTF? Usyk had to actually take his national flag off him so that he wasn't wearing it while embarrassing himself.

That was pure narcissisms. You could see the brain struggling so hard to put himself in the shoes of someone else for the first time ever.
