Khan is always banging on about how he thinks hes ready for a World title shot, well if he thinks thats the case then surely he beleives he could beat the british champion??? Khan also claims hes proud to be british, then how come he hasnt mentioned fighting for the british title surely that would be an honour to fight for the lonsdale belt. Frank Warren wont risk matching Khan with Murray because he dare not take the risk. This fight in my opinion should be made A.S.A.P. Apparently Khan is the top British lightweight, well fight the top lightweight John Murray to see if you are as good as you say.

murray's shite so Im not to bothered if he loses to khan right now as its probably the biggest fight he'll ever get.
And don't try and compare Alex Arthur to Murray, Arthur is miles ahead in talent and skills.

Thaxton is better than Murray IMO - more complete skillset.

Murray was on red hot form in his last fight, but Khan may be able to outbox him and look great doing so.

That said, instead of talking about it, get in the ****ing ring and prove it!

He was able to outbox Gomez, but he still didn't look great when his ass was on the canvas did he?

It's not like Gomez did anything special, except bob his head around and walk forward. Murray can walk forward, has the chin to take a few shots and get his own work off. Khan will be in trouble.

No - and it was only a cuffing shot.

Until he learns to take a punch he won't even make domestic level :deal

The difference between Murray and Gomez is that Murray is fresh and a bona-fide 135lb'er

I think Khan could beat Murray, and vice versa.

Exactly. Khan's speed and length is going to clown him a lot, but Murray has a good chin and can take Khan's punishment for a good 6 rounds at least, as Khan isn't a HUGE puncher. Just like that Kristjansen fellow did.

Murray can make it hell when gets in close, and it won't take a lot to hurt Khan. He has some power unlike the previous opponents, and the size/youth.

It's a total pick'em, far too risky for Khan I reckon.

Khan doesn't have much one punch power - I remember Limond saying on here that he has decent pop but it is the handspeed that does it in a cumulative fashion.

Has Murray been in with much bigger punchers?

Time for the Sports Network fraud to man up :deal
