Margarito is not really the person you would want to fight for your going away from boxing bout.

Floyd outboxes both but Cotto gives Floyd a harder fight than Marg can.

Floyd just has more skill than both...and his power is underrated...Cotto struggled with a shop worn 36 yr old Mosley(Which I have been saying prior & after their fight)

Where did I say that? :huh

I just think he's a tougher for for him than Margarito. A few reasons, he's faster, better skilled, and would be coming forward against a guy that isn't huge or powerful like Margarito rather than backing up.

Floyd takes body punches well ... he's accustom to body shots and he doesn't 500-1000 sit ups daily ... he spars with bigger, faster, stronger guys ... who have a more controlled relentless attack than Margarito.

He's sparring with fighters anywhere from 140-175 ... and they've been on the championship level before.

    :rofl

Mayweather is very rarely the aggressor, since the lower weights anyway.

They are both a serious threat.

Look Baldomir was a journeyman, nothing more. He was too old, too drained and just too happy to have been where he was to give a **** about attacking Mayweather. He was the perfect opponent to look good against.

Baldomir did nothing like what Tony did last night. He didn't walk through punches, he didn't bring those bodyshots in from the outside and he didn't pester all night with the long right hand.

Do you realize how much more energy it takes to box a guy like Tony compared to Baldomir? Mayweather will not make it the distance. I am sure of it now.

This is actually a tougher matchup for Floyd than I orginally thought. Cotto was moving and putting 4-5 punch combinations together with a ton of power behind them and it didn't discourage Marg.

Floyd would beat Cotto as well ... probably to the same effect that Margarito did.

Floyd is faster than both and will hit both of them alot ... you can't win against Floyd being a fighter w/ suspect defense.

The last time Floyd was the aggressor was against Gatti - who was shot to bits

We will never know how the fight would go, and that is because Puss* Boy Floyd will never agree to fight Margo.

And that tells me all I need to know about how the fight would play out, and what PBF thinks his chances are against Cotto's Conqueror.

If Floyd fought him and won, he can retire happily ever after

i think cotto, and paul williams would beat floyd. the only reason floyd would have a chance would be to run away from the action. But if the 3 judges who did the fight last night were judging margarito mayweather, mayweather losses. So what i'm basically saying is: Mayweather being considered p4p the best fighter is a joke. He's not even in the top three of his division.
