Here's the gist of it, Joshua can't try to out think and outbox Usyk he has to out bomb him. Unfortunately AJ fundamentally changed after Ruiz slammed a hook to his temple and dropped him. He's a totally safety first fighter, who's current style stresses avoiding punches at all costs , whether he can exorcise those demons and let his hands go remains to be seen.

 

It won't matter how aggressive AJ is if he hasn't the feet to close the distance. It might look a bit like Garcia vs Sandor Martin for the first 6 rounds , then AJ gasses out and gets stopped

Usyk won enjoy your split decision victory. He was not able to stop AJ as some of you were predicting.

 

That’s fine nor am I saying I agreed with his scorecard either. It is what it is and it’s a fact that it was a split decision and 2 of the judges saw it as 115-113 either way. That’s a close fight on the scorecards.

 

Rounds 10-12 ultimately decided the fight.

 

The judge who scored it 116-112 saw it like you. I felt many rounds could scored either way. I was not surprised the American judge Feldman scored it for AJ because they like aggression especially effective aggression.
