The trainer who never took a fighter from his pro debut to the title, the trainer who was born the son a wealthy doctor but pretends he's from the streets, the trainer who looks like he's taken a thousand punches in the ring but it's really just because he's a dim half-wit (Fredo), the trainer who got fired by every boxer he ever worked with when they realized he's just talk, the trainer who took a handgun to what he believed was his fighter's residence to kill him ... because he'd fired him for being a bad trainer ... the one and only ... TEDDY ATLAS.
Norman Stone, for all his douchebaggery, actually took "Scrawny Jawny" ... from failed cruiserweight ... helped him change his style (which Bernard Hopkins adopted to lengthen his career) ... and helped Ruiz to become a two-time heavyweight champion, with title wins over Evander Holyfield and Hasim Rahman. Stone got the absolute most out of John Ruiz you could get. Teddy Atlas usually took an established contender or champion and made him worse. The examples are endless.
Atlas is known more for riding the coattails of Cus and Tyson than his own career as a trainer. He sucks even more as a commentator. He speaks like he has some kind of rare condition where he can only speak in metaphors. He's also terrible at predicting fights. It feels like he always picks the underdog just to be a contrarian.
Panama Lewis was known for being a cheater, if that makes him a good trainer to you then thats your opinion. Dude was a doosh.
Paul Williams trainer. ****ing idiot had a guy like Williams with his height and reach fighting on the inside and never using his jab.
