Who throws your favorite body shots?

James Scott seemed to punch right through people’s torsos in his Rahway heyday.

 

McCallum was good

Maybe not the best but trust me, barry mc guigan was a helluva bodypuncher. Won the european title with a great body attack

 

I’m not a fan but I really like watching Gerald McCeallans body shots. He was folding up guys who couldn’t fight but it was vicious to watch. Mayweathers body jab is my personal favourite for whatever reason, before I even “got” fighting I threw body jabs really well if I do say so myself.

 

Inoue and Mickey Ward

 

I like the upward, uppercut-to-the-breadbasket body shots Pipino Cuevas and Bazooka Limon used to throw.

I think they may have had the same trainer in common but not sure on that.

 

I always thought toney was an underrated body puncher. I loved when he'd feint a jab to the head and land a left hook to the body. That with the hook to the body uppercut upstairs ala Mike Tyson with either hand was great to watch - especially against Barkley. Even at heavyweight the thud of his body shots was cool to hear. There's something about guys that needed to put in work to accumulate punches to wear fighters down that I always enjoyed.
