I hope not. He’s coming into his prime and looked devastating against Williams. Sometimes when boxers have too much talent it can be difficult to bring everything together. I felt Jones was doing a good job. Either way he can’t be far from a world title now. It’s a shame he has so many jealous haters in the UK. He’s the full package.
Enjoy watching Eubank Jnr and have seen a fighter with plenty of heart and talent but he needs to prove himself in World Title Fights.
I thought he looked awful against a shot, damaged Williams who did his weight wrong. It was a very strange fight.
I read that Eubank jr said he wanted his dad in corner for the Benn fight and back to Roy for rest of his fights. Roy will miss out on a big payday if that's the case
nah I had Williams winning plenty of the rounds he didn't get knocked down in. Jr's lack of killer instinct was terrible. Williams was hurt and ready to go but Eubank Jr didn't wanna risk anything. Trying to box like Jones Jr doesn't suit him.
He wasn't enjoying it all the time he was definitely flustered a few times by Williams and lost at least 4 rounds. It did appear he had the power to KO Williams though.
Roy Jones great strength was as an evasive fighter with great feet and world class movement. Eubank Jr is flat footed and has poor movement. Eubank Jr cannot be moulding himself on Roy Jones given that he isn’t athletically gifted as Roy was. It looks like a poor tribute act at times.
Eubank sr has been on Celebrity Masterchef which is obviously more important and prestigious than this novelty shite Eddie Hearn has been reduced to putting on. But he's been eliminated now so is free to be in the corner for the little cosplay reenactment of his fight with Nigel Benn.
