I don’t see how wilder considered is one of the most devastating punchers in HW history


take a look at their knockouts, how they deliver the knockout, with how much force is being delivered to the oponents ad he crumbles, and the quality the opponents they knocked out


Wilder was a long, lanky wind up Hearns- type knockout puncher, that wax effective, but was not near the brute force, concussive power like Wlad used to dropped so many quality, undefeated contended

Wald could knock you out with either hand, and with either a straght right down the middle, of a short quick left hook. And every punch in between

either hand was devastating…, hey knocked at Ray Austin without ever throwing even one right hand, he knocked Chsmbers out cold with an extremely short left hook that was so fast you could almost not even see it being thrown

Wlad was 10 times the brutally strong, effective knockout puncher that Wyler ever was

Prime Wlad was head and shoulders above Fury. Prime wlad beats any version of Fury.

 

For ten yrs, he was a hands-down favorite over everyone

hey avenged the first peter fight and avenged the Brewster loss

10 years of easily dominating, without question…, that’s something that is hardly ever been seen HW boxing history

 

Wlad made 18 consecutive title defenses against legit top contenders. Wilder isn’t even in the conversation

Yeah, not the best vid to showcase Wlad's punching power, however Deontay's power is a bit overrated these days, especially by Fury.

 

I think Wlad did have more power in total, both hands, from shorter punches.
If he threw like Wilder, with everything in it, he'd do even more damage.
But he's not around so Wilder is closest to that kind of stopping power.
Fury basically equates them, giving Wlad the edge in some interviews.
The main point these days is that Wilder hits harder than AJ, that's really been the heart of the discussion, I think.

 

When Wilder's opponents and Wlad's "legit contenders" met head-to-head, it didn't tend to end well for Wlad's "legit" contenders.

Those people were already past their primes though. Wlad fought them when they were fresh and ready, not washed up.

 

Not a massive Wilder fan, but his power in the right hand is incredible.

I wasnt always rooting for Wladimir klitschko but he was a fantastic champion. We wont see anyone as dominant like him in a long time IMO.
Todays fighters cant compare to his greatness.
