Joe Louis is known as the greatest finisher of all time & it was widely stated that once he had you hurt - he'd never let you off the hook. However, there must be some sort of exception(s) to the rule. State which HW(s) you think could survive a Louis onslaught & why.
I'd say maybe, Holyfield, Ali, Holmes. Those guys showed they could come back after being kd or hurt, by big hitters.
Anyone that can be hurt be Joe Louis can be finished by Joe Louis. Anyone that can’t escaped Area 51.
He isnt a great finisher when we look at his opponents compared to others in 70s they wasn't that tough in Joe's era or did they know how to defend that good of course he would be a great finisher
The best start would be to look at the fighters that actually survived that and ask why Louis failed to stop them
