    I think he would be a contender in any era. Higher ranked in some and lower in others. I’d give him a good chance at beating guys like Floyd Patterson, Ingo Johansson, Michael Spinks, Leon Spinks, Buster Douglas, Ken Norton and Joe walcott.

    Marciano makes plenty of people's top five, and most everybody's top ten. However their is not a shortage of fighters I would favor over him.

    It wouldn't be a stretch to imagine him beating some people in your top 20, based on styles, and form on the day.
