I'm kinda hoping that he retired and stays retired. Not that I think he will. Only Lennox did that amongst the big guys recently but he'd suffered loss. Fury hasn't. He'll believe he's unbeatable. Until he is beaten. So, I think he'll be back.
Fury knows he is beatable. It's just choosing the moment to step down his competition accordingly. He hasn't got the ability to walk away from the sport like Lennox did. Lennox having a tough fight and beating Vitali on a technical was the perfect motivation to quit whilst ahead. If AJ handles himself correctly for the next 12 months he can get that Fury work Fury will go along the lines of Ali. Unstoppable mentality but the body will not allow success eventually. He will get beat in a boxing ring, but by a very worthy young champion and he'll retire 5 times in the process. Fury is driven by doing the impossible.
That's what I meant, he doesn't know defeat. To some, this can work against you. I'd like to see him say bye bye now.
This content is protected But in defeat all Fury could see was victory because after this bout he knew David Price would not handle him in a pro bout.
Fury calls Usyk a middleweight for 6 months then gets embarassed and cries about how he wanted to retire undefeated but got peer pressured into fighting a guy who "wasn't around for as long!!!!" and cope the rest of his life. As in actually CRIES
I feel like I predicted this meaningless 3 time Ring Champion crap less than a week ago. The alphabelts are next to meaningless, the Ring belt used to be an honer and now it's lost any lustre it had as well. 3 time Ring Champion.....really grasping at straws now. What's the record for heavyweight title defenses againg? 19, 20? Now that actually means something! I could google it and look all smart and stuff but I'm half in the bag and can't be bothered.
of course i know what it is. He passes from maniac to depressive phases in a short time. The problem is it seems to me, however, that he is always in maniac clowny mode.
