He's been getting emotional too much lately. He was choked up at the end of Cotto vs. Mosley as well.

Wow, I didn't notice that. I would love to see footage. That'll make a great avatar.

And in Pavliks fight with Lockett, about Kelly helping that kid with bone cancer & at the end of the night talking about Jim McKay, but that I can understand.

I think is time for Lampley to pack it. I used to have so much respect for him but what he did last night was pretty pathetic. He showed his obvious bias views.
Hey Jim, this is boxing at it's best, two elite fighters in their prime...there's going to be blood involved. If you can't handle that, then it's time to do something else...maybe be a cheerleader for Cotto.
I did feel very sad watching Cotto's son but they should not take children to boxing matches. There should be an age restriction. A kid should NOT see his Daddy go through that!!

That is understandable but he got emotional and teary minutes BEFORE he mentioned his friend's illness. It was when he was watching the short video of the fight's final moments and the aftermath. Again, he should be impartial and unbiased. If Cotto had won, Jim would have been the happiest guy.

That was just a slap in the face. A hideous montage of humiliation and shame. Somebody must have been a Margarito fan.
