after the Usyk fight, AJ said he was keen to fight anyone. he wanted to be out in November again but Hearn said December.

now we have cretins on this forum saying it's unfair for Fury to suggest November 26 or December 3 as fight dates because Joshua needs until December 17 to get his training done. Despite December 3 being 12: weeks away.

"I spoke to Eddie (Hearn) and asked him if it's possible to get out in November because momentum is important in boxing. Eddie said December. If it's about who I fight, it's come one, come all. Whoever wants it can get it, I don't mind"

If he said that, it means he is desperate for a title match as soon as possible. He probably thinks he is nothing without a belt.

    I'd like to add:

AJ has not once said he needs until December 17 for training camp purposes.

it's only cretin fanboys here making those excuses, & Fury haters wanting to portray Fury as unfair , & Matchroom shills.

AJ is a good man, an honest professional & will genuinely fight anyone on December 3, if he was allowed to.
    So it should happen.

but the problem is Eddie & DAZN might have other plans.

it has nothing to do with training camps. That's ****ing ridiculous. AJ knows he will be ready for anyone in November nevermind December.

or maybe he's just a good professional coming off 2 losses looking to get back in & get a good win.

Joshua knows momentum & activity are important in boxing.

it's very sad these days so many so called "fans" don't want frequent fights & actually argue for delays.

If the fight doesn’t get made it is because Fury doesn’t want it. AJ has agreed to the biggest stumbling block, the purse.

Team Fury need to stop with their artificial deadlines.

I knew this fight was too good to be true but realised I have been fooled when Fury and even Warren did their negotiating through IFL. Let’s see what s***te he end up facing in December now. Probably Charr or Del Boy

The only thing I don't get it is the rush of Fury/Warren's team. As boxing fans we are used to wait forever for a fight: Crawford/Spence; May/Pac; Tyson/Holyfield. All of the sudden they want to make this fight in 3 days??? I think Fury's team is to blame based on what Fury has done in the past: Retired, retuned, Said he would fight for free, said he wants 500 million $, said he wanted bare knuckle, Retired again, returned again, Wanted to fight Chisora, wanted to fight Ngannou... It never ends. Hearn made the biggest fights of the past 5 years and its not to keep playing these silly games

That's refreshing. Now let's see if it actually happens.

He certainly didn't make Joshua-Wilder, a huge fight which was right there on the table in April-June of 2018.

Fury, on the other hand, thrashed out a deal with Wilder rather swiftly thereafter.

there's nothing wrong with being in a rush.
Fury wasted most of his career.
he wants to fight Usyk as soon as possible
so is trying to get an interim fight in as soon as possible
AJ is trying to get a fight soon too.
so this shouldn't be a problem

seriously boxing needs to change. we seem to have a whole generation of fans who don't want fights to happen fast and frequently
    I don't get that mentality

Wilder v Fury 1 was announced in late September 2018 and took place on December 1st.
Wilder Fury 2 was announced in late November 2019 and took place in February 22nd 2020

there's absolutely no good reason why Fury and AJ shouldn't agree the deal today and announcements in the next couple of weeks to fight on December 3rd.
    if all sides want it.

it's really not difficult like people think.

At PBC we publicly announce fights late though the fighters know and are already well advanced in training at the time of the fight announcement. Not everyone operates the same model.
