i like Jared Anderson, but Jalolov is the best HW contender in the world

    yh but thats obvious hes better than Anderson. theres about 10 guys coming up better than Anderson lol. Jalolov Gassiev Makhmudov Dychko Sirenko Aliev Torrez etc

    He's too old to be fighting soft opponents is the problem. Gotta keep in mind Anderson and Torrez are basically a different era than Jalolov.

    Jalolov was an unbeatable juggernaut in Tokyo. When he was Anderson's age in Rio he didn't medal. He was big then too. It's a lot of development between early 20s and late 20s.

    I think Anderson's last opponent, an awkward character who was swinging for the fences, was a great stop on that road. Torrez fighting Jalolov for the gold medal was great experience.

    The two Americans have all the time in the world. They are getting more spotlight than they should because there's a vacuum at the top because the shine came off Michael Hunter and Jared Miller who should be taking the American HW torch from Wilder.

    Jared Anderson is the future of HW boxing.

    The only time he'll come unstuck is against a super heavy of Fury or Joyce's ability.

    He needs to finesse his boxing a little more so he can deal with the plodding superheavys with only a punchers chance. Only 22 years old plenty of time.

    The worry with some boxers is they stagnate or hit a wall, that's my only worry for him.
