Then the same will apply with Fury but AJ fans are deluded.

But Fury's physical pressure will fold him in half even quicker than Holyfield.

I agree I had a debate on this mythical match up a few months ago, and I echo your thoughts. Holyfield was in wars vs the likes of Old Dokes, Old Foreman, Stewart, Cooper, etc. Holyfield would often slug it out too much, and against a big strong hard hitting heavyweight like Joshua that could spell danger, I still favour Holyfield in this match up I think his stamina, will, would eventually win him the fight. But it's a dangerous fight for Holyfield IMO.

Joshua wins and without much issue.

The most similar opponents to Joshua that Holyfield fought were Bowe and Lewis. Holyfield went 1-3 against Bowe and 0-2 against Lewis for a total of 1-5. Thats a very poor record against super heavyweights. Then take into account how he went life and death with guys like old Foreman, old Holmes, Alex Stewart, etc and it sort of boggles the mind how Holyfield has any chance of beating Joshua when he couldn’t even put them down.

On Joshua’s part, he may not let his hands go as much as he should, but when he does he’s a dangerous powerhouse to deal with. Absolutely flattened Ruiz with blistering speed/power in round 3 of their first fight and nearly got Usyk in round 9 of their second fight.

It didn't happen watching it live. It just became more apparent on the 2nd or more viewing.

    The genius of Eddie Hearn.

All he talked about after the rematch was him rushing to the ring apron after that round to tell Joshua's corner they'd got their man. And so the myth of round nine was born, on which Joshua's credibility now rests. That and the absurd split decision.

The 2nd fight mirrored the first. Joshua was slightly better. That's it...

Holyfield fought competitive fights against prime Bowe and Lewis. Though a good fighter, Joshua is not on that level and I find it hard to think how fighting Joshua will be more challenging for Evander than fighting Bowe or Lewis.
