Louis s Bum Of The Month Club..?

The so called BOTMC ran from Dec40 to May41, 6 fights, culminating in the Conn fight. Some handy names in there.

Select a 6 month period for any of today’s upper echelon HWs and, for more than a few, it will equate to somewhat less than their commonplace periods of inactivity anyway.

At least among those participating in the so called BOTMC, we have Buddy Baer and his fight vs Joe, providing us with quality and informative vision of the essential Joe Louis. Worth its weight in gold.

Re the video clip of Joe and Ali, Joe was simply invoking a third party labelling to speak light heartedly in order to burn young Ali by identifying him as a relative bum (compared to Joe) also. And burn him he did! LOL.
