Yes, good quality fight. I've never been particularly impressed with Josh Kelly and didn't think he looked good in his last fight. Kelly could easily risk losing to Williamson.
Wasserman are doing decent things, they are always trying to have a headline British Title fight, e.g Udofia Bentley. Williamson should win this one but I know he’s tight at 154 and was shocking in his previous fight against Mason Cartwright.
Really good scrap, exactly the sort of fight terrestrial tele needs. So is Probellum dead then? Another one of their fighters on other promoters shows
Yeah it is I think There's a Probellum card in Liverpool in October headlined by Peter McGrail, with Rocky Fielding and Jazza Dickens on the undercard. 2016 Super-Heavyweight Olympic Gold Medalist Jalolov is also featuring. No opponents have been announced though and it isn't listed on Boxrec.
Interesting fight with a total clash of styles. Troy looked very good against Cheeseman and is a pressure fighter which is exactly what Kelly does not like- high punch output, especially when it comes from a strong fighter with some power. I think Josh Kelly has only ever looked good in small patches outside of his first few fights, and at 154 has not impressed me so far. Still fights in short inconsistent bursts and has a style which is not at all suited to him which is puzzling and a mistake on Adam Booths part, you fight in short bursts with your hands so low only if you are a massive power puncher with a high KO ration- he is anything but! Even at this weight he just strikes me as a fighter that could come apart and crumble under even relatively light pressure from someone with good power. He coasts too much against poor opposition and takes too much time off in rounds. I would back Troy Williamson to probably get a late ish TKO here, unless he is really tight at 154 as he is big at the weight and does carry a lot of muscle so not sure what weight he has to come down from.
