Golovkin can't knock out Canelo. Because Canelo has very good movement. In the first 2 fights, Golovkin missed a lot, couldn't land, and was punished dearly by Canelo.

Going to be a great fight I'm pumped for this!

Does anyone else feel like the build up to this one is a bit off? It just doesn't have that big fight feel and hype and it's almost like everyone's going through the motions.

I think the buildup is low because Canelo lost his last fight and GGG is being dismissed as a serious challenger for being “old”. It doesn’t help either that most are suspecting the judges to hand Canelo the win no matter what happens unless GGG knocks him out so that kills off excitement as well.

Imo it will be a real battle in a very real sense of the word. I predict a fight Ward v Gatti style where I hope in the end GGG is able to win by decision and get revenge for one of their 2 bouts Canelo robbed. He deserves it.

Completely agree. I understand why people think it might not be, but I think both fighters will be more open than the previous 2 fights.

Might need to Cry Harder for another 4th fight then & remember to keep on low blowing & continuously stepping on his Toes for that too work.

I think the only way GGG can win, is if he goes all in right at the start and doesn't try to box him.Golovkin is old, Canelo might not be 100% confident as he just came off a scholling from Bivol, but I'm sure he'll want to close the show to shut up the critics. I'm actually a little hyped for this !

Come off it. This is a mismatch. There is a reason why team Canelo waited four years to rematch an older and smaller man who is now past 40. Canelo is still prime at 32 whilst Golovkin is obviously not close to the fighter he used to be.

Tbh, I know that I should be excited about this fight. But I'm not, and I dont know why.

Probably the fight night I will be excited and willing to watch the fight. But... up to now.... nothing, I just dont care. Weird.

GGG looking good, solid and energetic. This will be as good or better than the previous two fights.

It's getting there. Neither guy is quite a huge crossover star among English speakers.

I do miss the 90s and early 2000s when a fight like this would be everywhere.

I don't expect Canelo to go for the KO early in the fight no matter what he says the animosity is between the 2. He know GGG has an even lower output now, but I expect Canelo to go for the body more on the inside. I have seen some good things from GGG under his new trainer and maybe they have tuned up the style even more now to give Canelo something new, but GGG has been pretty much touched up by everyone he's fought since his 2nd fight with Canelo. One thing for sure he cannot fight going backwards in this fight like he did in the 2nd. He has to be the bully and go for it, gotta show more initiative than ever before.

The X-Factor is how Canelo's recent loss affects his mentality, especially if GGG backs him into the ropes and lands combos, also GGG could be stronger at 168 that at 160. I do expect another decision win for Canelo, maybe a late stoppage. Would like to see GGG use the Bivol blueprint though, where you keep your guard up, block, jab, move in and out and unload straight punches, but then again you need stamina and fresh legs for that. One thing is for sure, they are both bangers and this will be entertaining.
