He beat his ass and won like 10 rounds, LOL at survival mode. Did you give Tim Bradley credit for winning 7 rounds vs a 42 year old Marquez?
I cannot understand why your argument is based on if and buts. I am not comparing Canelo to Loma but I am questioning why Loma is listed in the top 5 when he clearly does not deserve it.
Fighters like Lara and Golovkin had their careers derailed for this? A half-witted midget who seems to be already fading? He should not come anywhere near a serious Bivol, let alone Artur. Get Benavidez first. Heck, at this rate Andrade might be getting his fight soon.
I don't think he's a top five fighter now.. his skills are still otherworldly but his body is breaking down... but the reason why so many rate him so highly still is because most of those 18 fights were at championship level & he made made NUMEROUS guys QUIT... that is unprecedented.. the idea that you can't have losses in the sport and still be a top fighter is leftover Mayweather syndrome I wish people f*** off with it... loma seamlessly moved up the weights for a good while despite being a featherweight .. he is the definition of pound for pound, his skill .. everything.. Canelo is a great fighter too but hes juiced to the gills & should have at least four losses now so let's not jump on Loma for having 2 .. one of which was highly suspect... i thought Salido fight was a draw but in reality he should have been disqualified...
He did though, then he gassed. He won the trilogy though which is all that matters. Now the boxing world can move on just like they did post Pac/May.
Canelo was dropped to around no.5 after the Bivol fight and should not drop any after beating GGG. GGG, even at 40, was considered the best at 160 so an argument can be made that Canelo can be anywhere between 3-5.
So every close fight Canelo has been in you are calling a loss? Are you sure you're not a Vegas judge? LOL
